  1. cool pictures. New Orleans is awesome. For people who declare that Americans have no “culture,” I suggest them to look at New Orleans and then tell me if Americans indeed have no “culture.”

    so much of new orleans is rooted in an alternative past, as if they planned a northern industrial white empire and a southern agricultural black empire complete with creole black massas running a southern south american afro carribean plantation civilization with jazz and creole cooking.

    pity it never came to pass america might have been a much more interesting place if it did..
